(Guthrie Center) ACGC looks for their third straight girls basketball win on Thursday night when they host Glidden-Ralston. The Chargers are 3-2 while the Wildcats are 1-4.
ACGC downed Earlham 70-59 earlier this week, it came on the heels of a 59-38 decision over Ogden. Coach Brad Baudler says, “The big things is our shooting finally started to come alive. People that are hitting shots in practice are starting to do so in games. We are putting together our offense pretty well and looking smooth and crisp while doing it.”
All five starters average at least six points per game led by Kennedy Young at 11.6 points and 5.8 rebounds a night. Alaina Bunde is the team’s leader in field goal percentage at 51%. The sophomore has averages of 11 points and 6.4 rebounds while Kylie Young is not for off in the scoring column at 9.6 points per game.
We’ll have both the girls and boys games for you on KSOM Thursday. Pregame starts at 5:45 p.m.
