(Exira) Exira/Elk Horn-Kimballton School Officials are receiving positive feedback on the school bus passenger restraints.
Schools Superintendent Trevor Miller says one bus in the fleet has the. The School Board on Monday night approved the second and final reading of a board policy no. 711.10 regarding School Bus passenger restraints.
“I’ve received positive feedback from our bus drivers,” explained Mr. Miller. “The seatbelts keep the students in their seats and frees our bus drivers to do the driving.”
In other activity; the School Board approved early retirement applications from Connie Burns, Geralyn Christensen, Lisa Dreier, Char Bintner, Tami Jacobsen and Patty Mortensen.
