The Vikings stay unbeaten led by Raydden Grobe’s 17 points. The sophomore splashed in four 3-pointers. Brayden Lund scored 14 and Clayton Akers had 10. Missouri Valley was led by 14 points from Ben Hernandez.
Atlantic 66, Kuemper Catholic 41
Skyler Handlos scored 29 points including 21 in the 3rd quarter to help turn the game in Atlantic’s favor. Craig Alan Becker scored 11 for 2-3 Atlantic. Tyler Putney was the top scorer for the Knights with 9.
Audubon 54, Riverside 43
The Wheelers had three in double figures-Marcus Olsen (11), Skyler Schultes (10), and Joel Klocke (10). Olsen made 7/10 free throws and compiled 5 steals. Jackson Jensen had the best game of his season going 2/2 beyond the arc for 6 points. Gavin Smith scored 6 points and led the team in rebounding with 13. Riverside was led by Aiden Bell’s 14 points. The freshman is averaging 15.5 points per game the last two outings.
CAM 74, Glidden-Ralston 51
CAM outscored Glidden-Ralston 40-19 over the 2nd and 3rd quarter in their 6th straight win to start the year. Ethan Arp broke out with 18 points on 8/10 shooting. Colby Rich had 15 points and 7 boards while Connor McKee made 4/5 shots and scored 11 points. Nine Cougars scored in the win. They take a 6-0 record into the holiday break.
Nodaway Valley 60, Bedford 43
Toby Bower came up big with 23 points on 8/13 shooting and was 5/9 from 3-point range. Josh Baudler registered 13 points thanks to his 6/7 free-throw shooting. The Wolverines led by five at halftime and opened the lead to 20 by the start of the 4th. It’s Bedford’s first loss all year. Nodaway Valley is 4-1 overall and 3-0 in the Pride of Iowa.
