(Council Bluffs) Pottawattamie County authorities report an arrest in a case involving a woman being held against her will.
Fernando Contreras, 23, was arrested following a traffic stop Wednesday night. Contreras was westbound on Interstate-80 near Minden at the time deputies were advised he had a passenger in his vehicle taken against her will. He’s charged with False Imprisonment and Obstructing E911 Communications.
In other arrests, 55-year-old Patrick Michael Kelly is charged with Operating Under the Influence 3rd or Subsequent Offense, 20-year-old Ryan Lee Newberry faces a charge of Violation of Probation, charges against 29-year-old Yelena Lily Black include OWI and Abandonment of a Dependent Person, and 36-year-old Ryan Patrick Knauss is charged with Theft 5th and Credit Card Fraud Under $1,500.
