(Glenwood) Four people have been arrested on drug charges in Mills County.
The Mills County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at the 30 mile marker of I-29 at around 1:00 a.m. Saturday. Upon investigation and searching the vehicle, approximately 32 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia was located. The passenger, 20-year-old Zachary Vaughn Case, of Council Bluffs, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Fugitive from Justice for a Sarpy County, Nebraska warrant. Case was transported to the Mills County Jail without further incident. A male juvenile was also arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and transported to the Mills County Jail where he was released to a parent.
The Mills County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit assisted Mills County Deputies with a traffic stop near 370th Street/Highway 34 at around 1:51 a.m. Monday. Upon investigation and searching the vehicle, approximately 15 ounces of liquid methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription pills, and drug paraphernalia was located in the vehicle. The driver, 30-year-old Zachary Clay Younts, of Red Oak, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Carrying Weapons, and Driving under Suspension. The passenger, 24-year-old Amanda Lee Ann Solt, of Red Oak, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Prescription Pills, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Younts and Solt were transported to the Mills County Jail without further incident.
