(Council Bluffs) A Council Bluffs man was arrested following a pursuit in Council Bluffs Tuesday.
The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office says a Deputy attempted a traffic stop on a 2018 Honda Accord on Big Lake Road at around 10:22 p.m. Tuesday when the vehicle eluded law enforcement until it crashed. The driver, 38-year-old Roger Otts, ran until the Deputy was able to catch him and place him under arrest. Otts was booked in on charges of Eluding and Driving Under Suspension, and on a Probation Violation warrant for Conspiracy to Commit Forcible Felony, a Probation Violation warrant for Theft 1st, and a Probation Violation warrant for Theft 3rd.
In other activity, 28-year-old Anthony Hytrek, of Missouri Valley, was arrested early this morning following a property damage accident at 502 Antique City Drive. Hytrek was charged with Operating While Intoxicated 2nd Offense.
Joshua Leroux, 33, of Blue Springs, Missouri, was charged Tuesday with Possession of Contraband. Leroux, an inmate at the jail, was in possession of small baggy of methamphetamine and Xanax.
Jesse Baldwin, 36, of Council Bluffs, was arrested Tuesday for Driving While Revoked and on a warrant through the Iowa State Patrol for Driving While Revoked.
Jordan Bywater, 22, of Council Bluffs, turned himself in Tuesday on a warrant for Willful Injury Causing Serious Injury.
Andrew Ross, 24, of Council Bluffs, turned himself in Tuesday on a warrant for Violation of Parole.
