(Creston) A Creston man is in custody on a Union County warrant for failing to appear on an assault charge.
Police arrested 29-year old Trevor Kincade at the Law Enforcement Center on the warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of assault causing bodily injury or mental illness. Kinkade was held in the Union County Jail, awaiting a bond hearing.
Police also arrested 19-year old Haley Ziegler of Creston at her residence for possession of a controlled substance 1st offense and possession of paraphernalia. Authorities released Ziegler from the Union County Jail on a $1,300 bond.
