(Audubon) The Audubon City Council has once again tabled a measure on the use of ATV’s and UTV’s within city limits.
The possibility of permitting ATV’s and UTV’s to clear snow was initially brought before the council in January. An ordinance has been put together, but not yet passed.
“That was tabled. We are going to have a work session on February 24th to work out the wording on that.” City Clerk Joe Foran says new garbage containers were discussed at Monday’s city council meeting. “When some of the containers were dropped off they were dropped off at abandoned properties so public works has gone around and pulled those back up next to the buildings. Then there was some discussion how to get the residents to move the cans back to their homes on non-trash days.”
The council set their budget hearing for March 9th and unanimously passed a maximum tax levy resolution.
