(Des Moines, IA) A group of state senators are dropping an eminent domain proposal after a hearing where all Iowans were against the bill. The bill would require pipeline and other infrastructure projects to get voluntary easements from at least two-thirds of landowners along the route. The House is expected to consider a proposal later this week.
