(Iowa City) Iowa posted 51 2nd half points to beat Indiana 91-89 on Thursday. The Hawkeyes end a three game skid and improve to 9-6.
Kris Murray had 30 points and 10 rebounds. Filip Rebraca contributed 19 points and 10 boards. Connor McCaffery scored 16. Payton Sandfort and Tony Perkins each scored 10. The Hawks made 22/25 from the free-throw line. An 18-4 run in the 2nd half allowed them to take a 64-51 lead with 11:35 to play. Iowa fell behind by six points with 3:42 remaining and then scored nine straight to take the lead.
Iowa returns to action at Rutgers on Sunday.
