(Davenport, IA) — Attorneys for the man accused of shooting 10-year-old Breasia Terrell to death have asked for a trial delay. The motion for a continuance was filed Tuesday in Linn County. The trial is scheduled to start October 24th. Fifty-year-old Henry Dinkins is charged with first-degree murder in Terrell’s 2020 death. His attorneys call it an extraordinarily labor-intensive case for a trial expected to last three weeks. Terrell’s remains were found north of DeWitt in March 2021.
