(Davenport, IA) — The trial of a Davenport man accused in the July 2020 killing of ten-year-old Breasia Terrell is being pushed back until May. The Scott County trial of 49-year-old Henry Dinkins was scheduled to being February 14th but has been delayed until May 9th. Dinkins pleaded not guilty to the first-degree murder and kidnapping of Terrell. Investigators allege that Dinkins removed the girl from an apartment on July 10th, 2020 and then fatally shot her. Breasia had spent the night before she disappeared with her half-brother and Dinkins. Authorities found Terrell’s body in a pond near DeWitt last March.
