Harlan boys and girls each place 4th at Storm Lake

(Storm Lake) Harlan’s Lindsey Sonderman crossed the finish line in 19:36 to win the girls competition at Storm Lake’s XC Invitational on Tuesday. The Cyclones also had Kaia Bieker crack the top ten with her 9th place run.

The girls team scored 95 points to place 4th. Ellie Gross finished 26th, Jenna Gessert 27th, Taylor Bieker 32nd, Makayla Burchett 33rd, and Emily Schechinger 37th.

The Harlan boys placed 4th with 135 points. Tyler Shelton led the way with a runner-up finish. Placing 17th was Kaiden Milliken. Ian Shelton ran 20th. Joseph Bragg placed 36th, Keaton Heileson 60th, Jonathan Shelton 64th, and Seth Anderson 81st.
