(Ames) #10 Iowa notched a 27-17 win at #9 Iowa State on Saturday. The Hawkeyes outscored the Cyclones 14-7 in the 2nd quarter and 10-0 in the 3rd quarter.
Tyler Goodson rushed 21 times for 55 yards and a TD. Spencer Petras was 11/21 passing for 106 yards. Jack Campbell returned a fumble recovery for a touchdown, Seth Benson intercepted a pass, and Matt Hankins picked off Brock Purdy twice.
Purdy was just 13/27 through the air for 138 yards. West Sioux alum Hunter Dekkers entered the game in the 2nd half and was 11/16 for 114 yards and a TD. Breece Hall carried 16 times for 69 yards and one score.
