(Orient) Earlham posted a perfect score to win the boys cross country meet at Orient-Macksburg on Monday. The Cardinals had the top six finishers, led by individual champ Zach Dixon in a time of 17:58 and runner-up Jayden Dickson in 17:59.
CAM’s Ethan Follmann finished 7th and helped the Cougars place 2nd as a team. CAM scored 95 points while West Central Valley (112) and Orient-Macksburg (122) rounded out the four scoring teams. Follmann was backed up by five teammates finishing between 20th and 26th. They included Gavin Clayton (20th), Ryland Ogelsbee (21st), Cale Maas (22nd), Carson Cary (25th), and Ben Bartlett (26th).
Audubon, Griswold, and the Nodaway Valley JV also competed, but didn’t have a team score. The top runners for the Wheelers were Jackson Deist in 15th and Eli Deist 30th. Derek Bald ran 51st for Audubon. Griswold’s Jeremy Sheeder placed 23rd. Nodaway Valley had Tyler Cooper 29th and Devin Hawley 36th.
