A private family service for 77-year-old Joseph H. Schwarte, of Defiance, Iowa, will be held July 11, 2024. Burial will be in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Defiance. Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan is in charge of arrangements.
