(Pottawattamie Co) The Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors this morning received a presentation and funding request from West Central Community Action.
Wendy Mueller, Executive Director, told the Board they are requesting the same amount of funding as last year, which is $15,000.
$4,282,974 worth of services was provided to Pottawattamie County residents in FY2023. 2,190 households were served, made up of 4,898 individuals.
Services provided to WCCA clients include Head Start, Early Head Start, Child Care Resource and Referral, Child and Adult Care Food Program, Weatherization, LIHEAP, LIHWAP, Embrace Iowa, Family Development and Self Sufficiency, and Habitat Home Assistance.
