(Dallas Co, IA) — Dozens of central Iowa horses are being taken from a Dallas County property under suspicion. On Wednesday, a search warrant reportedly turned up 46 horses with a range of veterinary issues. Multiple reports say there was significant neglect. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office says an investigation is ongoing and that criminal charges are pending in the case.
