(Emmetsburg, IA) — A northern Iowa daycare provider is facing charges after a toddler died earlier this year. Twenty-eight-year-old Hannah Priest of Emmetsburg was caring for 23-month-old Sebastian Jespersen on January 19th. After nap time, Sebastian was unresponsive and later died. The state medical examiner’s office say he died of head trauma. Prosecutors say Priest admitted to being frustrated with Sebastian and setting him in his cot forcefully. Priest is being held on a 50-thousand dollar cash only bond.
