(Guthrie Center) The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors has been working on the logistics for the Guthrie County Credit Card Policy, and on Tuesday, the Board approved the final wording.
Guthrie County Auditor Dani Fink says the Policy states each department can have a maximum of three credit cards, and any other purchases need to be done through direct billing, which the State Auditor’s Office also recommends. Additionally, employees using the card must sign off acknowledging they received the Policy and understand the guidelines for what it can be used for. If in violation, there can be potential discipline by the department supervisor or elected official.
