(Anita, IA) – CAM’s Barry Bower is more than excited for this upcoming season for his Cougars. CAM went 7-3 last season and won five straight games until losing to Lenox in the 8-Man Second Round, one thing that leaves a burning desire under the feet of coach Bower and his squad, taking just one game at a time.
CAM is looking at the today of every game, taking everything one step at a time because they don’t know if there is a tomorrow at the end of the season. This is to ensure that they are ready to come to every game with a business-like attitude to get them ready on day one.
With every coach, there is a different philosophy that they follow before games. Your team only is guaranteed eight games a year and the eyes are always on you before a game. Coach Bower has a philosophy to keep his head in the game so he can properly teach his players on the field while educating a positive outlook off the field.
Coach Bower and his Cougars are ready for a good start to their next season as they will be taking on Audubon for the first regular-season game on August 25th. You can catch that game on our website or on 96.5 KSOM.
