(Iowa City, IA) – The University of Iowa and Iowa State University athletic programs are expecting record revenue numbers this upcoming sport season. The Cyclone program is expecting to earn over 111 million dollars this upcoming year. This is due to the increased ticket sales for events as well as multimedia revenue contracts and streaming of their athletic games.
The Hawkeyes are expecting to pull in around 140 million dollars in revenue, a nine percent jump from last season. They are not only earning bigger returns from the Big Ten Conference, but they are also seeing their revenue jump from women’s basketball star Caitlin Clark.
