(Atlantic) On Monday, the USDA’s latest crop progress reports showed improvement in the nation’s corn and soybean conditions with good-to-excellent ratings.
Aaron Saeugling, Extension Field Agronomist, says corn and soybean conditions have improved in southwest Iowa.
Saeugling says the corn crop has been a bit more challenging.
Saeugling notes the topsoil moisture is hanging in there but will need more rain to finish this crop out.
