Judith Ann Leistad, age 83, of Pearland, Texas and formerly of Elk Horn, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center in Houston, Texas. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Elk Horn Lutheran Church in Elk Horn with visitation starting at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Elk Horn Lutheran Cemetery.
Judy is survived by her husband Ronald Leistad of Pearland, Texas; three children: Beth Winquist of Schleswig; Joni Irlmeier of Norfolk, Nebraska; and Reed Leistad of League City, Texas; numerous grandchildren; two sisters Kathleen Johnston of Green Valley, Arizona and Vicky Oakley of Deltona, Florida; and a brother Andy Jacobsen of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Ohde Funeral Home in Kimballton is in charge of arrangements.
