(Audubon) The Audubon boys tennis squad picked up a 6-3 victory against Harlan on Thursday. It is believed to be their first win in four seasons.
Isaac Jackson picked up an 8-5 win at #1 singles. Eli Deist was an 8-3 winner in the #2 singles spot. Connor Christensen and Carson Matthews added 8-5 decisions at #4 and #5 singles.
Jackson teamed with Deist for an 8-4 #1 doubles win. Matthews and Lincoln Sorter earned an 8-4 decision at #3 doubles.
The Audubon girls edged Harlan 5-4.
Singles winners were (#1) Audrey Jensen 8-6, (#5) Joselynne Moreno 8-6, and (#6) Rachael Rynearson 9-7.
Picking up doubles victories were (#1) Audrey Jensen/Gery Anderson 8-5 and (#3) Ava Slater/Rachael Rynearson 8-4.
