(Guthrie Co) Jotham Arber, with Guthrie County Public Health Services, introduced their mental health therapist to the Board of Supervisors this morning.
Arber said Jenny currently oversees the H.O.P.E.S program, she does social work and therapy and over the next few months she will be transitioning to the mental health role.
Arber said the working on doing some mental health and first aid training at the hospital.
Arber said they would like to have a child therapist as well.
On the public health side of things, Arber said they are looking to hire another nurse to expand and grow and they are also looking to fill an interim home health aid position.
Arber also mentioned that he is finishing up training and at the beginning of April he will be offering EMT classes locally.
