(Burlington, IA) — Nearly 400 members of the United Auto Workers remain on strike in southeastern Iowa after rejecting an offer from Case New Holland Industrial. The farm and construction heavy equipment manufacturer called it their last, best, and final offer for workers in Burlington, Iowa, and Racine, Wisconsin. The strike began in May and is heading toward its ninth month. This was the first contract the UAW allowed to come to a vote after refusing more than 20 other proposals. CNHI has not publicly responded.
