(State) The Girls State Wrestling Tournament is coming up on February 2nd and 3rd in Coralville. The field for the state tourney will be set on Friday, January 27th when the regional tournaments are held.
There are four sites and eight regions. There is only one class for girls wrestling.
AHSTW, Clarinda, Council Bluffs Coop, Denison-Schleswig, Glenwood, Lewis Central, Logan-Magnolia, SWAT, Treynor, and Underwood are among several teams competing in Region 1 at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City.
Region 2 will also be in Sioux City at the Tyson Events Center. Local teams in Region 2 include Audubon, Carroll, Kuemper Catholic, Missouri Valley, Red Oak, Riverside, Shenandoah, and Southwest Iowa.
