(Des Moines, IA) — The State Auditor’s Office is opening their search for accountants to Iowans with Associate Degrees. State Auditor Rob Sand says the move will help Iowa fill positions in a tight labor market. The Bureau of Labor Statistics says there are 17-percent fewer Americans employed in accounting and auditing today, compared to 2019.
