(Jewell) ACGC swept the South Hamilton Cross Country Invitational on Thursday. The Charger girls scored 52 points to top Madrid by 10. The ACGC boys won by a 35 point margin over East Marshall with a team total of 31.
The Chargers had Ava Campbell win the girls competition with a time of 20:15. Katelyn Brandhorst, of Madrid, ran 2nd in 20:41. Other ACGC scoring runners were Adalyn Benson 8th, Hayden Coffman 11th, Katelyn Schafer 15th, and Kiersten Knobbe 21st.
In the boys race it was ACGC’s Justin Reinhart clocking a 16:36 to narrowly edge Madrid’s highly ranked Ethan Loutzenheiser (16:37). Andrew Mahaffey ran 5th for the Chargers. Gavin Sloss and Noah Kading were 6th and 7th, respectively. Bo Arrasmith ran 12th and Lance Bunde finished 13th. Coming in 16th was Tyconder Ellis with Jackson Sloss 18th.
