(Harlan) A lot of eyes not just in this area, but statewide will be on Harlan’s Week 7 showdown with ADM. KSOM will air the contest with live video streaming HERE.
Both teams are tied atop the Class 3A District 6 standings. “There are probably going to be some fireworks in this one. They have a potent offense. We have a pretty potent offense. There defense really flies around and has a lot of speed on the field and our defense has some speed.”
In the latest AP Poll for Class 3A, ADM is 2nd and Harlan is 3rd. “It’s kind of lined up where both teams are clicking on all cylinders right now.” Harland coach Todd Bladt says, “The way the season has lined up here and where we are at it bodes for a big game. I’m sure both schools are excited and doing their best to prepare for the game on Friday.”
ADM has a couple of big time playmakers on offense with quarterback Aiden Flora and running back Brevin Doll. “Their quarterback is pretty special with the ball in his and #15 (Brevin) Doll is some kind of speedy. When you have both those things in the backfield it’s going to allow you to do some things down the field.”
Harlan enters this games on the heels of a 54-7 win over Atlantic. Coach Todd Bladt says the Cyclones played fast and confident. They’ll look to repeat that approach this week. “We are going to look to do that again. I told the guys if you can’t get up and motivated for this baby I don’t know what will.”
ADM topped previously undefeated Creston last week by a final of 38-7.
