(Ames, IA) — Investigators with the Ames Fire Department say a series of fires in the city’s Inis Grove Park are considered suspicious.
The fires were discovered just before 11:00 p-m Thursday. Fire officials say a trash can caught fire and the flames spread to a restroom building. That building is now closed. Four other fires in trash cans were also found at the park – the last one near the Miracle Playground.
