(Washington, DC) — US Senator Chuck Grassley says he doubts that issues like same-sex marriage and contraception will come before the Supreme Court. Those worries were voiced by demonstrators at Iowa rallies against the high court’s rulings on guns and abortion. The Iowa Republican says there is a clear difference between issues like abortion and birth control, or LGBTQ rights. The concerns came up when Justice Clarence Thomas said the Supreme Court should reconsider opinions which protect same-sex relationships, marriage equality, and access to contraceptives.
