(Guthrie Center) A spot on the November ballot is up for grabs in four Republican Supervisor races in Guthrie County.
The new redistricting map pits three incumbents against each other for the nomination in District #1. Jack Lloyd currently holds the seat, challengers Clifford Carney sits on the board representing District #2, and Jerome J.D. Kuster represents District 4. The winner will face democrat Michael Herbert in November.
Clinton Deardorf and Brian Johnson face off in district 2, Maggie Armstrong and William Halling square off in district 3, and J.T. Heron and Steve Smith are vying for the nomination in District #4.
Democrat Tom Flanery is unopposed in District three and will face the winner between Armstrong and Halling in November.
