-Simpson lost 14-10 on Sunday to Gustavus Adolphus.

-SWCC lost 3/4 games in a Tuesday/Wednesday series with St. Cloud Tech
-Sampson went 1/2 with a double and a run scored in game one.
-He was 1/3 with a run scored in game three.
-Sampson was 1/2 with a run scored in game four.

Ryan Hawkins, Senior, Basketball, Creighton
-Hawkins posted 18 points and 6 rebounds in a Big East quarterfinal win over Marquette on Thursday.
-The Bluejays matched up with #11 Providence in the semifinals on Friday and won 85-58. Hawkins posted 8 points and 12 rebounds.
-Creighton lost 54-48 to #8 Villanova in the finals. Hawkins had 2 points and 8 rebounds.
Taylor McCreedy, Freshman, Track and Field, Iowa Central
-Outdoor season begins March 18th

-Reed competed Friday in the NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships, placing 12th in the 60 meter hurdles in a time of 7.78.

-Next competition is the Jackrabbit Invitational in Boulder City, NV on March 14th and 15th
Olivia Engler, Freshman, Softball, Iowa Central
-Iowa Central beat Macomb CC 5-3 on Friday. Engler gave up one hit in 4 1/3 IP and struck out 7.
-ICCC beat Macomb 10-1 on Saturday.

-Simpson beat Fredonia on Saturday 5-2. Pellett appeared as a pinch runner.

Sophia Peppers, Senior, Basketball, Morningside
-Morningside opened the NAIA National Tournament Friday night against Iowa Wesleyan. The Mustangs won 94-71 with 23 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, and 2 steals from Peppers.
-Morningside beat St. Francis 85-72 on Saturday. Peppers put up 17 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals.
-The Mustangs will face Carroll on March 17th in the Round of 16.
