(Sioux City) The Atlantic girls’ basketball team matches up against Sergeant Bluff-Luton in Sioux City tonight for a Class 3A girl’s high school regional semifinal.
On Saturday, the (9-13) Trojans defeated Shenandoah, 41-33, in a regional quarterfinal game. Sergeant Bluff-Luton, (18-4) routed Greene County, 63-13.
Atlantic Head Coach Dan Vargason says Sergeant Bluff-Luton is a balanced squad.
Sergeant Bluff-Luton averages 56-points per game and allows the opposition on average 39.4 points per contest. Atlantic averages 42.7 points per game and allows the opposition 45.5 points per game.
Paytn Harter leads the Trojans offensively, averaging 13.6 points per game, and Jada Jensen averages 12.4 points per contest.
