(Cedar Falls) Gavin Smith will represent Audubon at the 2022 Shrine Bowl. The game will be played in Cedar Falls on July 23rd.
Smith led the Wheelers to the UNI-Dome with his 2,074 rushing yards and 995 passing yards. He totaled 56 offensive touchdowns during his senior year.
The South roster also includes Connor Frame (Harlan), Caelen DeVault (Nodaway Valley/O-M), Casey Trudo (Van Meter), Matt Dufoe (ADM), Dawson Marshall (Lenox), Nick Miller (Lewis Central), and Cal Wanninger (Kuemper Catholic).
Audubon’s Sean Birks and Sidney’s Donnie Sears are each assistant coaches for the South staff.
