(Atlantic) The Atlantic City Council will hold a Public Hearing next week on the cities proposed redistricting plan.
Atlantic City Clerk Barb Barrick says cities and counties must have their new maps drawn within sixty days of the state’s adoption of the census. Barrick says A couple of blocks tweaked Atlantic Wards four and five to correct a slight population variation.
Barrick says the ideal ward population is 1,358.4 people, which means the variation can be 135.4 people.
The meeting is at noon on Monday, January 3, in the City Council Chambers.
