(Greenfield) Adair County is receiving two installments of $694,596.00 from the American Rescue Plan Act Funds. Adair County Auditor Mandy Berg says the first installment is in, and on Wednesday, the board earmarked funding for six projects.
The projects include digitizing records in the Auditor, Recorders, and Engineers Offices. Approved $295,000 to rock some of the entryways to the Park and Recreation areas, $45,000 to the Historical Society Museum for a geothermal system, $125,000 to the Conservation Department for latrine replacement, $24,000 to Public Health for equipment, supplies, and salaries and benefits for their employees, and $52,000 to the Adair County Fair Board for lost revenue.
Berg says the County will receive another $694,596 in July.
