(Omaha) Creighton will take an 8-3 record into Big East play later this week. The Bluejays hosted Arizona State on Tuesday and fell short 58-57.
Ryan Hawkins had 6 points and 10 rebounds. He shot 2/10 from the field, 1/8 from 3-point range, and 1/2 at the line. Ryan Kalkbrenner posted 16 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 blocks. Alex O’Connell scored 11.
The Bluejays return to action on Friday at home against #9 Villanova.
