(Glenwood) Harlan placed four scoring runners in the top twenty and edged Glenwood for the Hawkeye Ten Conference team title on Thursday at Glenwood. The Cyclones scored 55-points, and Glenwood finished with 59.
Harlan freshmen Lindsey Sonderman won the individual title, and her teammate Kaia Bieker finished second. Atlantic junior Ava Rush crossed the line in third place, Lola Mendlik, Denison, fourth, Mayson Hartley, Clarinda, fifth, Madelyn Bergland, Glenwood, Sixth, Claire Pellett, Atlantic, seventh, Raenna Henke, Clarinda, eighth, Tyler Tingley, St. Albert, ninth, and Rachel Mullennax of Glenwood, crossed the line in tenth.
The three other Cyclone scorers included; Taylor Bieker, 14th, Ellie Gross, 15th, and Kayla Anderson, who finished in 23rd place.
For Atlantic, besides Rush and Pelletts’ top ten performances, Mariah Huffman finished 26th, Belle Berg, 31st, and Faith Altman, 36th. Aspen Niklasen finished 47th, and Claire Wiederstein, 49th.
