(Audubon) The Audubon Fire Association will continue to raise money for their new station through their fundraiser breakfast at T-Bone Days.
They’ll serve from 7-12 at the fire station on Sunday. One change this year is they’ll be seating people outside. “This year we decided to go a little bit different approach. We’ll have a big tent with picnic tables outside. This will actually give us an opportunity to show people part of the reason why we are looking at getting a new fire hall. It’s the closeness of the equipment and how difficult it makes it to get into our vehicles. We can’t event get it all parked inside the fire hall.”
Audubon Fire Association President Dave Witt who says this event usually draws a big crowd. “Usually in the area of 600-700 people, so we have an extremely good turnout.”
Pancakes and sausage will be available for free will donation. This year they are offering their traditional dine in option as well as a drive through.
