(Harlan) The Shelby County Fair gets started with weigh-ins and open shows on Sunday.
The pre-fair events include; the weigh-in from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. for the open class steers, heifers, and feeder’s calves; the 4H and FFA Dog Show starts at 9:30 a.m. The Open Class Steer, Heifer, and Feeder Calf Show starts at 11:00 a.m., and the open Dog Show is at 2:00 p.m.
The Tractor Pulls highlight the entertainment on Wednesday starting at 6:00 p.m., the Crowning of the 2021 Shelby County Fair Queen is Thursday, starting at 8:00 p.m. followed by the Strolling Act from Farmer Phil at 9:00 p.m. The Dixie West concert starts at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, followed by fireworks in the dark. The auto races cap off the entertainment activities on Saturday.
The livestock auction will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, July 19.
