(Oakland) Riverside senior pitcher Kenna Ford signed Tuesday with Nebraska Wesleyan.
Ford, who surpassed 500 career strikeouts earlier this season, has been a five year starter for the Lady Dawgs.
As a senior Ford owns a 13-8 record in the circle with a 2.20 ERA. She has struck out 156 batters and is holding opponents to a .226 batting average. She’s had a good year with the bat as well, carrying an average of .432. She leads the team with six doubles and 14 RBI.
Nebraska Wesleyan is a member of the American Rivers Conference in NCAA Division III. They went 16-21 last season.
