Jayden Proehl hurled a one-hitter. He allowed one walk and struck out two batters in the six inning contest. The Trojans trailed 1-0 entering the 4th inning. They plated seven in the 4th, three in the 5th, and eight in the 6th. Garrett McLaren, Brendan Atkinson, and Colin Mullenix all had three hits and two RBI. The Trojans improve to 9-11. Bodie Johnson and Grant Sturm also had two RBI games.

Lane Spieker had a night for the ages. He hit three homers and drove in seven runs. Two of the blasts came in a 10-run 6th inning. Spieker leads Class 1A with 11 HR on the season. He’s driven in 45 runs. Spieker also pitched the win. He walked two and hit three, but surrendered only one hit and fanned 13. Cade Ticknor delivered a two-run shot, his 2nd of the year. Brody Paulson, Joe Kauffman, Ethan Follmann, and Colby Rich had two hits each. The only hit for Exira-EHK came from Trey Petersen.

Toby Bower pitched the win. Boston DeVault had a triple among his four hits. He drove in three runs. Caelen DeVault posted three hits. Bower had a double, a single, and four RBI. Michael Britten posted two hits and two RBI.
