(Guthrie Center) ACGC has announced the hiring of a new varsity wrestling coach.
Lane Rumelhart will take over the position for Shawn Danker. Danker announced his retirement from the wrestling program in March after 30 years in coaching.
According to information from Activities Director Cody Matthewson, Rumelhart recored 156 wins during his high school career at Guthrie Center and was a state qualifier. He went on to Central College where he was a Scholar All-American and recorded a 23-8 record in his senior year. He was a four year letter winner for the Dutch and a team captain.
