(Washington D.C.) Iowa U.S. Senator Joni Ernst says the crisis in the southern border is affecting communities across the country.
Ernst cited the record number of illegal border crossings as well as the massive increase in the amount of fentanyl uncovered by Customs and Border Protection.
Ernst called on the Biden Administration to step up and take real action to ensure the safety and security of the American people.
