(Iowa City) The Iowa Association of Track Coaches will hold a Senior All-Star meet in Iowa City June 5th.
Participants must meet a standard time, height, or distance to qualify. Among the male athletes in Southwest Iowa that are eligible to compete if they accept the invitation are Brayden Wollan (Underwood), Sid Schaaf (Treynor), Craig Alan Becker (Atlantic), Nathan Sell (Lewis Central), Michael Shull (Clarinda), Zach Dixon (Earlham), Noah James (Treynor), Riley Backus (Shenandoah), Layne Pryor (Woodbine), and Tre Melby (Logan-Magnolia).
Girls from the are that have met the IATC’s Gold Standard include Molly Venteicher (CAM), Zoe Rus (Underwood), Kelsey Fields (Creston), Holly Hoepner (AHSTW), Haley Rasmussen (Atlantic), Peyton Pogge (Tri-Center), Liv Freund (Harlan), Emma Hughes (Glenwood), Brecken VanBaale (Harlan), Shelby Wilfong (Abraham Lincoln), Ashley Hall (Harlan), and Alexa Ahrenholtz (IKM-Manning).
Iowa City West will host the All-Star meet. Participating athletes will be divided into a north and south team. Each team can have up to 50 athletes.
