(Griswold) Preparation is in full swing for the upcoming season for the Griswold girls track team.
Josie Mundorf, Hope Ogg, and Kalainee Teaney make up the senior class for the Tigers. Coach Larissa Potter says, “We have the seniors returning Josie, Hope, and Kailainee. Kalainee didn’t get to compete for us yet because she was a new student. It’ll be great to see those seniors leading the way. Kailainee will be big in the throwing and Josie also in the throwing and Josie and Hope both in a few running events and hurdles also.”
Grace Cook, Lydia Greiman, and Paige Luft a a few of the juniors with some potential. “Grace and Lydia are looking pretty good in the middle distance area so far. Then Paige Luft in the throwing I think is going to be a pretty promising junior for us.”
A couple of freshmen round out coach Larissa Potter’s group. “Whitney Pennock and Dakota Reynolds are our new freshmen and they are looking very promising and really pushing themselves so I’m excited to see where that goes.”
The gun fires for the first meet on March 29th at Bedford.
