(Adair Co.) The Adair County Board of Supervisors this morning approved the Fiscal Year 2022 Maximum Property Tax Dollars resolution following a public hearing.
The maximum property tax dollars for the general county services shall not exceed $3,077,728 and rural county services $1,849,833. The fiscal year 2022 maximum property tax dollars requested for the general services increased by 3.84% and rural county services 4.24% from the maximum property tax dollars requested for FY2021.

Following the approval of the FY22 Maximum Property Tax Dollars, the Supervisors set a public hearing on the FY22 Budget for March 17th at 9:15 a.m.
The Supervisors also approved an amendment to the FY21 Budget following a public hearing in which there were no written or oral comments.
The Board approved awarding a contract to Schildberg Construction Company for farm to market granular surfacing in the amount of $465,074.03.
